Qur’anic Fushaa Arabic (for Children)
This course is tailored for children from as young as five years old to teens and is designed to develop in young students a strong understanding of Quranic Arabic. This comprehensive course is made fun through by specialized teachers in teaching children that use a curriculum that is designed for children with a focus on Quranic Vocabulary.
This course is divided into multiple levels, including numerous exercises to strengthen student’s skills with testing at each stage to help them gain confidence. course. Children who complete this course will obtain:
- A mastery of comprehension of over 90% of the Holy Quran.
- The ability to read, write, and speak Classical Arabic.
- A strong understanding of Arabic grammar.
- An well-rounded understanding and knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah.
Quranic Recitation & Memorization (for Children)
This course provides a fun and exciting atmosphere for children to learn Qur’an. Suitable for children ages 5 and up. Students will learn to perfect their memorization of Surahs in the Qur’an and learn to recite with accuracy and preciseness. Part of each lesson focuses on Tajweed to ensure that proper pronunciation is met while memorizing. Students can either focus more on reading or memorization depending on parent’s goals and expectations.
½ & ½ – Both Arabic and Quran
This course offers a perfect balance between strengthening children’s Quranic Recitation and their understanding of the Arabic meaning. It is simply a combination of both the Quranic Arabic Course and Quran Recitation & Memorization. So for example, if a student is enrolled in the “Standard” course of 2 & 1/2 hours a week, they may take Arabic for 30 minutes 3 days a week, and take Quran for 30 minutes 2 days a week. Students have the option of focusing on one of the two courses more than the other or both equally depending on parent’s goals and expectations.
Pre-Azhar Islamic Studies
This course is designed for kids who have completed the first the first 5 levels of the Quranic Fushaa Arabic (for Children’s) Course. In level 5, children will begin a specialized Islamic Studies curriculum that they study along side their Arabic Course. By the time they reach level 7 in their Arabic Course, they can take the Pre-Azhar Islamic Studies exclusively. At this stage they will study the same curriculum taught in the middle-school and high-school of Al-Azhar to prepare for their Shahada, certification and graduation.
